In-touch is the magazine for all the Ealing Trinity Circuit. The coronavirus pandemic is making us think about new ways to do things and new ways to communicate with people. So, we have decided to create
In-touch Online as the online version of our print magazine. We will be adding articles and information on  a regular basis, so check back frequently to see what's new.

Christians Together in Central Ealing Climate Change Events
Climate change has emerged as the most pressing issue facing the world. Against the backdrop of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow this Autumn and to help us focus on the issues raised by climate change and what we, as Christians can do about it, Rev Sue Male as chair of Christians Together in Central Ealing is organising an event at Ealing Green Church and ecumenical study groups on zoom.

Graham Preedy (1928 - 2021)
A life-long member of Greenford Methodist Church and local preacher for 61 years, Graham Preedy died on 24th July this year at the age of 92. Here is the tribute we published to Graham when he retired as a local preacher at the end of 2011.

Read Easy
Do you know someone who struggles with reading? If you do, Read Easy could provide the help they need to learn to read confidently. Local volunteers have set up a Read Easy group in Ealing with the aim of helping people in our area who struggle with reading improve their reading skills.

Iris Axon Concert Series at Acton Hill
The Iris Axon Concert Series of Sunday afternoon concerts at Acton Hill will be returning on 5th September at 4.00pm with a recital by Japanese pianist Mayasuki Tayama. The concerts take place on the first Sunday of each month and the series runs through until June 2022 (with the exception of January 2022).

Masayuki Tayama first came to prominence when he won First Prize in the Takahiro Sonoda International Piano Competition in Japan, followed by numerous top prizes in Europe, including the Birmingham International Piano Competition. His first London solo concert appearance was in 2002 at the South Bank’s Purcell Room and he gave his debut recital at the Wigmore Hall in 2007.

Theresa Simons-Sam on keeping the faith during lockdown
In September, Theresa Simons-Sam joined our Circuit as a probationer deacon. Before joining us she was in her final year of training for the Methodist Diaconal Order. She is also a Local Preacher and has been working as a community worker in the Hackney & Stoke Newington Circuit. In this video she shares various ways on how she has kept her faith going during the lockdown including journaling, praying, singing hymns, being still, support of friends and Scripture reading. She also shares a comforting prayer with all of us.
