A Message from Catherine Whitehouse from Northolt - updated

On the 10th of April, my partner and I took part in a 24-Hour Zooathon in aid of Harrow MS Therapy Centre. We played a game called Planet Zoo for 24 hours on a live stream, in which we built a virtual zoo with provisions made to make it accessible for people with MS. The idea was that at the same time to raise awareness of some of the early symptoms of MS, and some of the difficulties those with MS face. More information and some pictures of the virtual zoo can be found at the ‘JustGiving’ link below.  This is an issue close to my heart as my Grandmother Lyn Sallows has MS and this service gives her a lifeline.

Thank you to all those who helped us raise £380 for the centre that is primarily funded by donations. We would also love to hear from anyone who has or knows someone in MS as we would love to dedicate some of the exhibits to people with the disorder to emphasise the uniqueness of each person with it.
